Greta is a Classicist by training and currently conducts interdisciplinary research in Digital Classics, Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing and Digital Scholarly Editing. Along her research at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore on the LiLa: Linking Latin ERC-funded project, together with the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities Greta also maintains the Catalogue of Digital Editions.

Work Experience

  • October 2018-present: Researcher at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milano). Expansion and graph representation of the Latin WordNet as part of the ERC project Linking Latin (LiLa).
  • October-December 2017: Visiting Scholar at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milano). Performed automatic text reuse detection analyses on the Summa Contra Gentiles of Thomas Aquinas.
  • January 2015-September 2018: Researcher at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. Contributor to the development of TRACER, an automatic text reuse detection engine for historical texts.
  • May 2013-December 2014: Research Associate at Universität Leipzig. Coordinated a number of contracts for the digitisation of critical editions of classical texts.
